For those who believe that crashing cars is an awesome thing to do in an open world environment, Burnout Paradise would be the best option. The game, developed for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 gaming consoles, already has a playable demo released but, for those of you who would like to know all the details, there is an updated fact sheet available.

At first, we only knew that we'll have a true open world freedom (the entire city will be available from the outset, giving players the freedom to explore this immersive world known as Paradise City), an easy drive online friend service (to see your friends online and connect with them instantly) and some single player events (choose from Race, Marked Man, Road Rage, and Stunt by pulling up to the numerous stoplights in the game to initiate the event).

Now we have some fresh new information regarding the Burnout Paradise features:

- Rock Paradise City: Shred your way across more than 250 miles of open road discovering jumps, stunts, and shortcuts. - Infinite Possibilities: Blaze your path to glory in 120 unique events, using your knowledge of the city to find the fastest routes and get the drop on rivals. - Team Up or Takedown: Battle friends online and grab their mugshots, or join forces to complete more than 300 online challenges. - Showtime: Crash Anywhere, Any Time: Send your car wrecking, spinning and scraping down the road, smashing through traffic and leaving a trail of expensive wreckage in your wake. - Road Rules: Make and break the rules of each road by setting speed and destruction records all over town. Track how many you own against your friends!

Burnout Paradise has not yet been rated by the ESRB and PEGI. The game's last confirmed release date was the 25th of January 2008, both for the Xbox 360 as well as the Playstation 3 consoles. So racing games fans should be pleased really soon.
