BurnAgain FS mounts your data CD or DVD like a hard disk volume. This Mac app comes in very handy as it lets you add, remove, and even edit and change files which are ultimately burned to the media. The latest version of BurnAgain FS improves handling of large files and QuickLook/Preview performance and fixes a couple of bugs.

Using BurnAgain FS, you can burn data to a CDR, DVD+RW, DVD-RW and CDRW multiple times, without erasing, until the disk you are using is full. Besides allowing the disks to be read on different platforms, the software also lets you change the title of your disk prior to each burn, but at the same time, automatically preserves your special Mac file attributes.

BurnAgain FS is probably most suitable for users usually adding just a few new documents to the disk. The burnable media is therefore usable for backup purposes and even work in progress, much like hitting Command + S every once in a while, when writing a document.

BurnAgain FS 1.0.3, the latest version of the disc burning software for Mac OS X, includes the following enhancements:

- Improved handling of large files - Improved quicklook/preview performance - Fixed bug when using multiple devices - Fixed bug causing early trial mode expiration.

Requirements call for an Apple supported Writer (internal/FW). Developer Freerecording notes that BurnFS sometimes remounts a disk with zero KB available, preventing data to be added to the disk. Users need to simply unmount and remount the disk to solve the issue, the developer claims.

A trial version of BurnAgain FS, good for 20 trial burns, is available for immediate download HERE. A BurnAgain FS license is available starting at 15 euros. All customers who have purchased BurnAgain DVD since January 1st, 2008 are eligible for a free upgrade to the latest version of BurnAgain FS. Customers who have purchased BurnAgain DVD before 2008 are eligible to pay an upgrade fee.
