While Nintendo is still keeping its fans waiting for the Wii-kly update, Microsoft hasn't failed in rolling out their weekly announcement of the latest Arcade game to hit Xbox LIVE. Boogie Bunnies, developed by Sierra Online, is a 3D puzzler set in exotic locations. It mostly uses chain puzzles and features a bunch of game modes online and offline.

Official description: In "Boogie Bunnies," an imaginative color matching 3D puzzle game from Sierra Online, players must use their wits to keep a herd of bunnies out of danger. "Boogie Bunnies" transports players to exotic locations where they complete extensive chain puzzles to trigger funky bunny dances. The game features Classic, Arcade or Endless game modes that players can join in for some furry fun either online or offline in two-player cooperative and competitive modes that the entire family will enjoy.

According to an older report, disclosing some of the game's features (PC version), Boogie Bunnies is the next evolution in match-three puzzle games! This source strictly focuses on gameplay, revealing that, in the game, players match bunnies from three different sides ? left, right and from the bottom ? to save the them from marching to the bottom of the screen where dangerous pitfalls await.

Players or "Bunny busters" can score chain combinations to trigger creative dance moves and watch the bunnies get their groove on. And, as players travel with the bunnies to the upper mentioned exotic locations, they must adopt the local culture and discover new bunnies along the way - from designer sunglass wearing bunnies to completely outfitted diva bunnies.

Sounds fun, doesn't it? Well, if the game's features left an impression on you, all you need to know is that Sierra Online's 3D puzzle game (for download on your Xbox 360) is going to be made available for purchase via Xbox LIVE Marketplace this Wednesday, January 16th. The game is rated 3+ and goes for 800 Microsoft Points.

Take a look at the screens below and don't forget to check out XBLM this Wednesday!
