The development team at Bungie has explained that it plans to launch a new update for Destiny before it deploys the new House of Wolves expansion and it seems that the company is now getting ready to deliver more information about the changes it is aiming to deliver.

The new Weekly Update features M.E. Chung, a design lead on the social shooter, who explains how his team decides exactly how it will choose the way the future of the game will be tweaked.

Bungie states that it is aiming to introduce raid fixes in update 1.2 for Destiny, with plenty of bugs set to be eliminated so that gamers have an easier time taking out both Atheon and Crota, and strikes will also be improved.

At the same time, more space in the Vault is being planned for gamers so that they can store all the gear they will get from missions.

The ammunition system for Player versus Player battles will also be addressed in order to change the overall flow of the experience and Bungie is also aiming at more visual and audio options that gamers can use to tweak the way they play the game.

Bungie makes it clear that it has not decided on all the modifications it plans to introduce and that time will be the most precious resource for the company in the coming weeks.

At the moment, update 1.2 for Destiny does not have an official launch date, but it will probably be offered before the end of April.

Bungie is aiming to deliver House of Wolves in the second financial quarter

Producer Matt Priestley adds, "We put our ideas on the whiteboard and try to drive an acceptable Design and Test plan for each of them before our internal cutoff date. Our first job is to start with a big ambition. Our second job is to scope to what we can actually get done. Many ideas don’t meet our standards for the time we have."

More clear details about the changes coming in update 1.2 will be introduced in the coming Weekly Updates.

Bungie has also said that it will launch the House of Wolves expansion in the second financial quarter of this year.

The studio is planning to introduce about the same amount of content that was part of The Dark Below, and some leaked images have already shown new weapons and other elements of the new content.
