Jason Jones is one of the co-founders of developer Bungie and he says he feels responsible for all the content and the mechanics that his teams have created for Halo and are now creating for the new Destiny.

Although he is not officially the leader of all development for these titles, the game maker wants to make sure that the final product is up to the standards of the fan base.

He tells IGN that, “I know that it’s my fault if we put this game together and people don’t want to play it. I take that really seriously.”

Jason Jones has been known for his private nature and the fact that he rarely talks about the role that he has inside Bungie and his actual responsibilities.

He also offered some information on how he approaches new game creation, saying, “This is a cliché, but design isn’t how things look. Design is what they are and how they act. What’s the damage on the pistol or the friction on the wheels of a vehicle or something like that, those details make the experience.”

Jones also hints that the structure of Bungie is one of the reasons why the games that the studio releases tend to offer more quality than those of its competitors.

At the moment, the entire company is focused on Destiny, a new title that aims to mix core shooter mechanics with a more social structure and the power of the new generation of home consoles.

The game is designed to be alive and social, with characters that have rich backstories and a variety of areas for players to explore during their quests, including some interesting enemy designs.

The story is focused on a mysterious alien that protects the final human city on Earth from a race of powerful alien enemies.
