At least 13 people have been hurt, more could be pulled out of the rubble

A building collapsed in downtown Philadelphia, with demolition crews on site nearby. Six people in the Salvation Army thrift store next to it were killed and many others were injured.

According to WTVD, the crash took place on Market Street, while demolition crews were taking down the building next to the store.

The Guardian Express noted that at least 13 people have been injured. Rescue teams are still looking for survivors and there is no telling about how many people were actually inside the store.

The death toll was originally at one, but raised to six with first responders bringing out body bags after scouring the wrecks. Dog teams are helping with the search, and more casualties could be discovered.
