The Jorno may need to take a back seat for a while

Seeing Kickstarter hosting a project for a foldable wireless keyboard (Jorno) would make it seem as though there aren't such things already selling, and to some extent this is true, but Buffalo may have something to say about that.

To get right to the point, Buffalo Japan has announced a series of collapsible bluetooth keyboards for smartphones, tablets and other portable devices that can find use for key input.

Normally, the BSKBB14 measures 305 x 94 x 11 mm (12 x 3.7 x 0.43 inches W x D x H), but collapsing the two halves (magnetic lock) can turn it into a slab of 153 x 94 x 22 mm (6 x 3.7 x 0.86 inches).

On that note, the 69-key QWERTY English+Japanese layout keyboard weighs 230 grams and uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for energy (three months on one charge).

Buffalo will sell black (BSKBB14BK) and white (BSKBB14WH) models starting in October 2012, for 9,765 JPY (US $125 / 97 Euro).
