14 DAY TRIAL // Avril Lavigne has a very flammable temper, reports say. The latest incident seems to confirm that's the case, as she got into a fight with another girl over the weekend and her boyfriend Brody Jenner had to intervene.
Unfortunately for him, he ended up with a cracked skull as he took a bottle to the head in the altercation, TMZ reports.
The incident took place over the weekend, at a club. Details of it are not known, but it is believed that Lavigne got into a fight with another patron when Jenner was asked to intervene to help his girlfriend.
“According to our sources, Avril got into a dust-up shortly before 1:00 AM at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. We're told when Brody tried to intervene, he took a bottle to the head from someone for his troubles,” TMZ writes.
No one knows what got the two started.
“Law enforcement sources tell us hotel security broke up the fight and detained Brody and others involved. Police were called to the hotel and when all was said and done... we're told the police report listed Brody as the victim of an assault with a deadly weapon,” the e-zine further says.
“Our sources say Brody was the only one involved who spoke to police – the other combatants (including Avril) had split by the time they arrived. We're told Brody refused medical attention and went to the hospital on his own,” adds the same media outlet.
Lavigne is yet to say anything on the incident, but Jenner was tweeting shortly after he got out of the hospital, saying he had a new scar.
He did not, however, say what started the fight that left him with the scar.
A photo of Jenner with a bloody wound on his forehead has also emerged online: it confirms that the altercation really did take place, even if it doesn't say anything about what or who started it.
