14 DAY TRIAL // Pop star Britney Spears and longtime beau Jason Trawick may have exchanged more than just regular gifts over the Christmas holiday, as a photo she uploaded on her Twitter page shows her with what looks like an engagement ring.
Britney took to her Twitter to wish happy holidays to her many fans and followers, and also included a photo of her on Santa’s lap.
“Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas tweethearts. – Britney,” she wrote. However, aside from how wonderful it was for her to write to fans, the media is also focusing on what’s on her finger in the aforementioned photo.
As Monsters And Critics writes, it could very well be that the ring on her engagement finger is a promise ring from boyfriend Jason Trawick, who may have proposed over the holiday.
“Britney Spears has shown off a ring on her engagement finger she wore while meeting Santa. The pop superstar posted a photo of the meeting on her Twitter page as a Christmas Day message for fans,” M&C says.
“But far more intriguing for most will undoubtedly be the clear sight of a ring on her engagement finger hand,” the e-zine notes.
Seeing how, before going home to her family with Jason, Britney was visiting his parents, the idea of a possible engagement is not really that far-fetched, the same publication says.
“The image comes after Spears travelled to New York to spend time with boyfriend Jason Trawick’s family, fuelling speculation their relationship is more serious than ever,” M&C says.
Before that, Spears was forced to deny claims made by her first husband, Jason Alexander, to whom she was married for only a few hours when she was younger, that Trawick was abusive to her.
As we also informed you at the time, Alexander went to the media saying he had it from Spears herself that Trawick beat her up at least on a couple of occasions, even claiming he had audio recordings of Britney saying those things.
Spears denied all such allegations – and went on vacation with Trawick in Mexico for her birthday.
