It would be “virtually impossible” to do the dance routine and sing live, he says

I didn’t even know that people were still doubting the fact that all of Britney Spears’ live performances aren’t quite so: she was never a strong live performer and has been relying on lip-synching to get by ever since she first started.

Of course, there are bits of the show, certain songs that she actually does live, sometimes to great praise, other times not so much. But this doesn’t happen too often, and the bottom line is that no one who buys a ticket to one of Britney’s shows actually expects live vocals, knowing in advance that she will only be mouthing the words into the microphone, to a pre-recorded track made to sound as if she were singing “live.”

Somehow, her manager is living under the impression that people still believe this to be true, so he issued a statement to say that her Las Vegas shows aren’t live because of how demanding the choreography is.

“To put on the show that she puts on, it’s virtually impossible to sing the entire time and do what she does. She’s singing on every song, basically, when she has the ability to sing. There’s no way you can dance for 90 minutes straight and sing the entire time,” he says, as cited by Radar Online.

I could argue that this isn’t true, that there are countless performers out there, both female and male, who can do 90-minute shows with complicated choreography and still sing live, but, instead, I’ll remind you something Britney said before her 2-year residency started.

“I'm definitely going to be singing live. I always sing live. It doesn't sound so great all the time, but I do my best,” she promised.

And then she did this:
