The good news is, as one unnamed insider tells Us Weekly, “it’ll happen soon.” The bad news is that we get absolutely no hint as to what “soon” might mean.
However, the spy claims that Gaga spoke to Brit about the possibility during dinner, which Britney’s father cooked especially for the occasion. She thought of it after Spears told fans during an online Q&A that Gaga would be her ideal duet partner.
“I would do a duet with Lady Gaga. I think that would be a lot of fun. I think she's very different and interesting and intricate, and I like her as an artist,” Britney said, as cited by the same media outlet.
Gaga’s reply came almost instantly and was enough to send fans into a frenzy of speculation. “Let's do this [B-word], it's time,” she wrote back.
