On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the publication, it just had to go all out there and do something big – so it seemed obvious that there was no better way of making a splash than getting one of the hottest celebrities of the moment, Lindsay Lohan, for a sizzling photo spread and a revealing chit-chat.
And revealing the chit-chat is. From Britney Spears to lover Samantha Ronson, and how she feels about having her picture taken almost 24 / 7, Lindsay talks of everything. Even more, she even does the unthinkable and sheds some light on the projects that she should not be speaking of. As it turns out, speculation about her working with Sean Penn in the future has not been unfounded after all.
Speaking of the Princess of Pop Britney Spears, Lohan says that she is not an artist – far be it from it. However, Britney is not without merits either, since she has never pretended to be more than just an entertainer, Lindsay believes. “She’s marketed as an entertainer, which is what she is. Not necessarily as, like, an artist. And I respect that about her, ‘cause she doesn’t want to pretend.” the actress tells Nylon when asked how she feels about Spears’ great comeback with Circus and the ongoing tour by the same name.
As for Lohan’s relationship with Samantha Ronson, which has often been described in the media as one of the most flammable affairs showbiz has ever witnessed, the actress assures everybody things are just fine as they are. They have moved in together and, for once, everything seems to be going in the right direction, both on a personal and on a professional level, Lohan underlines.
“Samantha and I have been living together… and I finally found this great new house in LA – so now we’re closer to each other. It’s literally around the block… I got my license back a week and a half ago. That was a big deal. It’s [restricted], but it just feels so good.” the star reveals for the magazine.
