14 DAY TRIAL // Britney Spears’ life is back on track: she has her music career to focus on, is healthier and in better shape than ever, and she’s also preparing hard for an upcoming world tour to support her latest hit, “Circus.” Britney is also, several reports have it, working on a tell-all book on her life, for which she has already signed a whopping $13 million contract, the Daily Mirror reports.
Sources tell the British tab that the upcoming book, on which Britney will focus exclusively once she’s done with the tour, will be her response to the many things, mostly false, that have been written about her in the media ever since she met and married dancer / aspiring rapper Kevin Federline. That includes her infamous public breakdowns, her rehab visits and, in fewer words, the chaos that was her life for the past couple of years.
“There have been numerous unofficial biographies printed about Britney, but she’s never agreed to pen her own tome – until now.” the insider told the Mirror, presumably fully in the know as to what prompted Spears to finally pen her life story. Moreover, the spy claimed that this would not be Britney’s only book, since she has plenty of material on her own life to turn this into a potentially bestselling series.
“[S]ome of the stories she’s got are absolute dynamite. She’s kept diaries, so there’s nothing she’ll leave out unless she wants to. If the deal goes ahead, she will write between three and five books throughout the next decade – it’s one of the most lucrative book deals in showbiz history. Britney will talk frankly about growing up and how she went off the rails. It’ll be a gripping read.” the insider vouched for the tab.
In all fairness, this is not the first time that word of Britney thinking of writing a book on her life has emerged.
