More news from Britney's residency show in Las Vegas is coming to light and this time it's not all good. Radar reports that some of her most die-hard fans who chose to pay up to $2,500 (€1,822) for a VIP Meet-and-Greet ticket were left with a bad taste in their mouth.

The expensive tickets afforded their buyers front-row seats to the performance, a lot of Britney Spears merchandise and a meeting with their idol. It's obvious why people agreed to pay the money. It wasn't for the merchandise, that's for sure.

So when Britney came out, everyone was excited, except it wasn't a lasting moment. Insiders say that each person got roughly 3 seconds of contact with the “Toxic” singer. Adding insult to injury, the fans were specifically told they were not allowed to hug or touch Britney without her permission and they were definitely not allowed to bring her any presents.

The same sources claim that “fans were anticipating a flashy meet-and-greet with Britney but instead it was just awkward and uncomfortable. She barely spoke. She just smiled and nodded and said ‘thank you’ a lot.”

Previous pictures from fans that did the meet-and-greet with Britney showed a tired singer, with a bad hairpiece and sad eyes. Some commenters on Twitter took notice of the awful wig and expressed their frustration “the wig was painfully obvious one night and it was just so sad.”

At a whopping $2,500 (€1,822), you'd think that Britney would at least put on her best clothes and take time to mingle with these people, but it seems that she's either uninterested or just too tired to keep up appearances.

Britney's “Piece of Me” residency show in Las Vegas has been touted that her grand return to her singing career, but now, among rumors of lip-syncing, wardrobe malfunctions and disappointed fans, it seems the former princess of pop just can't hack it anymore.
