It’s been a long time since Britney Spears lost all say in all aspects of her life, but reports are now coming in claiming that Jamie Spears, the man calling all the shots, as the media dubbed him, may be preparing to “set her free.” Come November, Jamie will ask the judge in charge to revise the conservatorship and preferably end it, TMZ says, citing well-placed sources within the Spears management.

In February 2008, Britney Spears hit rock bottom following a series of disastrous press, a public meltdown that saw her shave her head in front of the paparazzi and then a very embarrassing public outburst that had her lashing out at a pap and pounding with an umbrella on his SUV. After paramedics, accompanied by police, rushed Spears to Cedars-Sinai, where she was involuntarily hospitalized under 5150, Jamie Spears was put in charge of all aspects of the singer’s life, from her music career to her personal life and, of course, finances.

Now, Jamie might be considering giving Britney her freedom back, once she wraps up the Circus tour in November, TMZ adds. “Britney Spears’ daddy is ready to release his daughter into the wild again – we’ve learned the conservatorship may be coming to an end. Sources tell us Jamie Spears will ask the court to review the terms of the conservatorship after her concert tour ends in November. Jamie can’t ask the judge to end it – just to review it. The judge then decides if Britney should regain control of her life. We’re told Jamie thinks Britney is ready to roll on her own.” TMZ writes.

Moreover, the same publication argues, there is the chance that things will be heading into this direction even without Jamie’s involvement. Sources on the inside are telling TMZ that various sponsors and vendors were promised that the conservatorship would stay in place with no alteration throughout the entire Circus tour: otherwise, the judge might have made the decision to end it sooner, the celebrity gossip website / paparazzi agency explains.

As fans must know, having Jamie in charge of everything might have actually been what saved Britney’s life in those difficult times, since he’s also credited with eliminating all negative influences around her, including her former manager Lutfi and pap boyfriend Ghalib, to name just a couple.
