And an unforgettable visual experience it will be, from what sources from the inside are telling the media. Among many things, fans are to expect to see Britney cut in half, as well as many other high-tech magic tricks.
Illusionist and comedian Ed Alonzo is now working with the singer on the Circus Starring Britney Spears tour, and, luckily for fans, he is more than eager to share some inside secrets with the media. According to him, fans will not only see Spears dance like she used to in the days of yore, but will also be introduced in a magic world where everything is possible – with a little help from “magic” and technology, of course.
“Right away, she got into the boxes and into the magic contraptions to learn the stuff, and she’s so excited about this tour and all the elements that are in it.” Alonzo tells E! Online. “We’re going to be doing the classics of magic but a little high-tech. We’ll be doing a little dissection, transposition, a vanish, an appearance – and if I do a trick, she doesn’t just hold the props, she’s actually getting inside the big boxes or I am slicing her up.” the magician further reveals.
So, this tour will not only mark Britney’s return to the music scene and her first string of live performances in years, but also a new approach to her music, one that has never been done before. “It’s going to be an amazing concert for people to watch. It’s like watching a big Cirque du Soleil high-tech circus, but with a really focused star in the middle of all of this.” Alonzo promises Britney fans all over the world.
We also know that the tour will include a 3-ring circus much like in the manner of a real circus. Now that these details have also been released, it’s clear that Britney Spears is indeed planning to go the extra mile for her first tour in years.
