Britney Spears adds European dates for Femme Fatale tour for September and October
Britney Spears adds European dates for Femme Fatale tour for September and October

She promised she’d make her upcoming tour, in support for the “Femme Fatale” album, her most outrageous and spectacular to date. Now, Britney Spears has added new dates to it, which means fans from Europe will also get the chance to see her live.

Tickets for the first dates will become available in the course of the day, but the gigs themselves will only take place starting September, as AceShowbiz informs.

Towards the end of the month, on the 24th, Britney will be in Russia. Three days later, she performs in Ukraine, with the European leg ending in October, when she performs in France.

X17 Online notes that there may be a minor obstacle to the European leg of the tour in that rapper Nicki Minaj has only been signed as opening act for the US.

“Problem is, her opening act, Nicki Minaj, has only signed on for the North American leg of the tour. Will Brit have to recruit new talent for the Euro trip, or will she carry the show all by herself? We think she can do it!” the e-zine states.

As of now, camp Britney has not announced who will be opening for her in Europe. Below are the newly added dates:

Sept. 24 - Moscow, Russia at Olimpiiski - On Sale: Jun 1 Sept. 27 - Kiev, Ukraine at the Palace of Sports - On Sale: Jun 1 Oct. 03 - Zurich, Switzerland at Hallenstadion - On Sale: Jun 6 Oct. 05 - Amneville, France at Galaxie - On Sale: Jun 6 Oct. 06 - Paris, France at Bercy - On Sale: Jun 6 Oct. 10 - Herning, Denmark at Boxen - On Sale: Jun 7 Oct. 21 - Montpellier, France at Arena - On Sale: Jun 6

In other Britney-related news, just the other day, singer and producer Moby lashed out at the pop star because her albums were being labeled and marketed as music.

Being a pop star doesn’t mean that you make music, Moby said in a recent interview, as we also informed you. Still, he admitted to “enjoying” Spears’ most recent release, “Femme Fatale.”

“I appreciate it as a pop culture phenomenon and some of the songs I like if I hear them in a shopping mall or something, but it doesn’t function as music for me,” he said, including Ke$ha in the same category as Spears.
