The Met Office, Britain's national weather forecaster is behind a fashionable, eco-friendly initiative, aiming to tackle climate change linked to extreme weather.

The new series of T-shirts and hoodies are the result of its collaboration with Rapanui a small-scale enterprise. Rapanui wanted to to make sure that its activity would have a zero ecological footprint, Treehugger informs.

It can now guarantee its products are 100% sustainable, made from organic cotton only and produced in a factory powered by renewable solar and wind power.

The company also uses an efficient traceability map, to monitor the post purchase impact of its casual apparel.

Teens will definitely enjoy the series of awesome-looking T-shirts displaying lightening rods, dark rainy clouds and symbols of acid rain, that definitely make a green statement.
