14 DAY TRIAL // Boy George came out last night at the Brit Awards 2014, walking the red carpet with all the stars and keeping his fans up to speed with the extensive preparation beforehand on social media. Within minutes, the Internet was buzzing about the accident he had suffered.
As you can see in the photo above, the singer stepped out with what looked like a bruised and bloody eye.
He didn’t say anything about it on Twitter, not even when he posted photos of himself on the way to the gala or, before that, in the makeup chair.
The Daily Mail writes that he hadn’t really hurt himself as fans feared: it was all carefully applied makeup. Apparently, the singer told the press on the red carpet that he had opted for it because he was “a fashion victim.”
The Mail also makes a huge fuss about how tasteless such a move was, but Boy George doesn’t feel the same, writing on Twitter, “Tasteless? Yet worth a whole lot of comment! ??”
