Eating foie gras is something no man or woman should ever do, seeing how this culinary delight is linked to animal cruelty.

Just ask Brigitte Bardot, PETA, the Society for the Protection of Animals and several other organizations if you don't believe me.

These animal rights activists have recently sent a letter to the Managing Director of Fortnum & Mason, asking that the store immediately quit selling foie gras.

“Thousands of people in France are working towards an end to the shameful practice of force feeding birds and we respectfully urge you not to help keep this inhumane and shrinking industry alive,” the letter reportedly reads.

As far as these animal rights activists are concerned, it's impossible to get foie gras without torturing birds in the process. Therefore, it's best to bid this treat its eternal farewell.
