Some brides want to look their best for their wedding but others want everybody invited to the ceremony to look – and feel – their best. Hollywood wellness guru Rainbeau Mars is one of these women.

So she’s having all her wedding guests go on a 21-day cleanse ahead of the big event, The Huffington Post reports.

Mars is already famous for her DVDs, books and programs, and celebrity endorsements both for her yoga programs and diets, but, with this move, she’s certain to have ensured for herself a spot in Internet infamy all of her own.

“Rainbeau hopes that by requesting her guests try out a vegan, and subsequently live food diet for 21 days, everyone will look and feel their best for HER big day,” her rep says for the HuffPo, a comment that has already generated some of the most hilarious responses online.

With the cleanse, the bride will also be providing the guests with various other activities meant to improve their health, such as “breath work classes, yoga and horseback riding.”

The wedding is described as a “three-day summer affair on the island paradise of Kauai” and includes guests such as Melissa and Joan Rivers, and model Josie Maran.

After word of this got out online, earning Mars the moniker of the “ultimate bridezilla,” she took to Facebook to set the record straight: it’s true that she’s asked guests to go on the cleanse but it’s not for selfish reasons.

Moreover, she writes, anyone is free to join them if they so desire and, of course, are inclined to pay the admission price to join the program.

“We were intending to include everyone with an invitation to what is supposed to be a healing and purifying ceremony for all,” she says.

“Some guests are joining us along with the other people that do this with us around the world and others are not,” Mars adds.

Rainbeau Mars will tie the knot with Hollywood business manager Michael Karlin on July 2.
