14 DAY TRIAL // For most boys, the transition to manhood is painful and embarrassing. When you're in the spotlight, that pain and shame is amplified tenfold so you've got to give it to Justin Bieber for sticking out for as long as he did and held on to his mustache, or the patch of fuzzy hair that sprouted on his face around Christmas.
To mark this momentous occasion, Bieber posted a video on Instagram in which he showcases the process of removing his facial tuft. As expected, the process is quick and clumsy, like most first times are, but luckily, the Canadian crooner is watched carefully by his friend Lil Za who guides him through it, since he does look to have more than a few rebellious mustache hairs on his face.
It's clear that Justin doesn't know what he's doing when he begins spraying lavish quantities of shaving foam on his face while asking rhetorically “is this how you do it?”
Right after, a five-bladed razor, complete with vibrations emerges in his hand, although we reckon a dull knife would have been enough to cut those babies off his face. With hesitating moves, the singer begins to shave and the end process is that he looks 14 again. At least Selena will love him for the boy he used to be.
Rumor has it that Bieber did this all for Selena, cleaning himself up a bit, shaving that peach fuzz around his mouth and also getting a haircut. It must all be part of his transformation, you know, the kind that has him quoting the Bible and going to church on Sundays instead of hanging out with drugged-out girls at parties.
The response to the shaving of the mustache has been instantaneous and all positive. Fans replied by the thousands commending Justin for shaving the “pubestache” as they like to call it and telling him that he looks better now.
Let's hope that Lil Za is going to teach Bieber the rest of the moves needed for a clean shave of the entire face when that hair eventually starts growing in all those places, because at the moment, judging by those moves, Justin is looking like a long roll of toilet paper crumpled in bits and stuck to his face to stop the bleeding.
