Artificial Life and Paramount Digital Entertainment have recently released the official Braveheart mobile game, based on the 1995 Academy Award winning motion picture with the same name. Braveheart comes after another mobile game, named "Shooter," has been released by the two companies.

The new game is a RTS adventure, one that allows you to become the legendary William Wallace and fight for the liberation of Scotland by using your warrior skills. Together with Lachlan, Mornay and Robert the Bruce, you will have to fight the English armies in locations like Edinburgh, York and Falkirk. There are three levels of difficulty and no less than ten missions.

"This well-known movie provides us with a dynamic storyline to create a thrilling game," declared says Eberhard Schoneburg, Chief Executive Officer at Artificial Life. "We put strong emphasis on the game graphics and background story to replicate the exhilarating and technically impressive battle scenes in the film. Every detail in the game, including the fictitious dialog, stays authentic to the characters as well as the original screenplay. By bringing the heroic character, William Wallace, back to life in the mobile game format, we hope to provide an invaluable extension to this well-known brand."

Braveheart the mobile game is compatible with most of the 2.5G and 3G handsets and can be ordered from Artificial Life's official website.

Premiered in May 1995, Bravehart the movie is now seen as a classic of the historical epic genre. Directed by Mel Gibson (who also starred as the lead), the movie had a budget of $53 million and a gross revenue of more than $202 million.
