14 DAY TRIAL // Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes hate each other and never miss the chance to take a jab at the other in the media or on Twitter. Brandi, some would say, has every reason to feel this way, since LeAnn slept with her husband and ruined her marriage.
Their years-long feud is well documented, mostly because neither pulls any punches when they have something bad to say at the other’s expense. However, for the past couple of months, they have been relatively quiet on the subject. Brandi admits that they’ve called a truce.
Brandi and LeAnn are working things out, maybe
A few days ago, both Brandi and LeAnn, and Eddie, to whom LeAnn is now married, were at a soccer game, cheering on for Brandi and Eddie’s sons. They seemed, at least from a distance, the perfect modern family, in which the ex puts all differences with the current wife aside and all parties come to an understanding for the sake of the kids.
In reality, Brandi and LeAnn didn’t make any kind of contact at the game, but that too was progress from the days when they couldn’t even be in the same place together for more than a few minutes.
Brandi is the first to admit to that, in an interview with InTouch Weekly. However, she’s also the first to take a jab at LeAnn, by saying that this is probably just the calm before the storm.
“Things are currently going OK!” she says. “It’s really nice and very weird because the tide has been smooth for a little while now. It worries me that something crazy’s about to happen because usually it ebbs and flows.”
Naturally, she hopes things will continue to stay “cool,” but from LeAnn’s past behavior, she has no guarantee that this will turn out to be the case.
Brandi knows exactly which buttons to push
To understand the chemistry between these two women and their apparent inability to work together in a situation that would require them to, you have to know this: it wasn’t just the cheating that got Brandi so riled against LeAnn.
Indeed, that helped, but what probably infuriated her the most was LeAnn’s behavior after the cheating, when, in order to save face, she tried to play the victim for the media.
To make matters even worse, once that done, LeAnn started talking about herself on social media as of a “bonus mom” to Brandi’s children, with rumors saying that she may have actually tried to replace Brandi in the boys’ lives.
In response, Brandi started provoking her by constantly dropping hints about how emotionally unstable and attention crazy she was. Since this whole thing started, Brandi has known which buttons to push, and as you can see from this interview, she still does. And she’s still doing it.
