This weekend, another remake hit movie screens across the US, of the popular ‘80s television show “The A-Team.” Starring Liam Neeson, Jessica Biel and Bradley Cooper, the film tells the story of a special elite group that do things their own way. Part of the marketing campaign for the film was based on Cooper’s stunning physique, which he got specifically for the part – and not without a lot of effort on his behalf.

Even though he worked really hard to get into such incredible shape, Cooper was the first to be amazed of how good he looked on camera. This, of course, would explain why depression quickly set in when he noticed his muscle mass was turning into fat when shooting wrapped. Then again, it’s not like Bradley did anything in particular to see that he maintained at least some of the muscle definition he’d achieved for the part, as a recent piece in AceShowbiz informs.

“Actor Bradley Cooper suffered from a bout of depression after filming wrapped on the set of ‘The A-Team’ because his toned muscle quickly turned into fat. The ‘The Hangover’ star embarked on a grueling fitness regime and adopted a strict diet to achieve the buff physique he shows off as Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck in the new movie adaptation of the hit TV series. But Cooper admits he let himself go once the movie was complete, and he began piling on the pounds by indulging in his favorite junk foods,” AceShowbiz writes.

“I shrunk back down two weeks after we finished shooting. It was depressing. Before that, I spent much longer brushing my teeth (to look at myself in the mirror). I was craving pizza so badly that the night we finished shooting I ate two arugula and prosciutto pies and a plate of Cherry Garcia ice cream with trail mix on top of it. And I did it again the next night,” the actor himself admits in a recent interview cited by the aforementioned media outlet.

While seeing a star become so motivated as to get in topmost shape for a movie role is worthy of praise, it’s how these stars act after they wrap production that can send the wrong message to audiences, concerned experts are saying, as we also informed you a while back. It’s never a good idea to revert immediately to the lifestyle one had before buffing up, which means Cooper did the worst thing imaginable by stopping working out and indulging in junk food, AFTA-certified trainer Sylwia Wiesenberg would say.
