The latest issue of Wired magazine includes a new guide for the modern man – How to Behave: New Rules for Highly Evolved Humans. The guide, meant to show men the exact means and ways in which they can cope and take advantage of technological advances, also includes a couple of Q&As with none other than Brad Pitt, as Lt. Aldo Raine in “Inglourious Basterds.”

While the brief comments Brad offers for the magazine have already drawn comparisons with what Sacha Baron Cohen has been doing for months – meaning the many interviews he gave for mags and on television as Bruno for “Bruno,” his latest mockumentary – they still come across as extremely funny, while they also represent an innovative way of promoting a film. Among the many issues that Pitt tackles are ever-burning problems like whether a man should post a picture of his wife’s backside on Twitter (like Ashton Kutcher did with Demi Moore’s), what are the odds of finding love online, and much more.

In the first instance, Pitt labels the act of taking a picture of your wife’s backside and then posting it online as “silly.” The really smart thing would be, according to the actor, taking a picture of someone else’s wife. Also silly is believing that what you read online is actually true since, as Pitt puts it, “Everyone lies online. In fact, readers expect you to lie. If you don’t, they’ll think you make less than you actually do. So the only way to tell the truth is to lie.”

Two other issues that Pitt as Lt. Aldo tackles in the same issue are related to things men can and can’t do while in the bathroom, for the purpose of number one or number two. The most frequently asked question as to the modern activities that are OK to take place while on the loo is about whether men can use the phone. “No, you can’t talk on the phone! Do you want the guy next to you to hear your entire conversation?” Pitt says.

Texting is also not really cool, unless whoever dares to take this bold step makes sure he doesn’t press the wrong buttons and ends up embarrassing himself. “Just be sure you don’t hit the wrong button and end up putting a photo of your junk on Twitter. Trust me, you don’t want those followers.” Pitt adds.
