14 DAY TRIAL // Whereas the rumor mill has it that their love affair, which has generated more press than any other celebrity couple in Hollywood, is on the verge of imploding, Brad Pitt himself insists he could not be as happy as he is next to Angelina Jolie with any other woman. Moreover, the “Inglourious Basterds” star even hints at the possibility of another adoption soon, in an impromptu interview with The Mirror at Cannes.
According to the British publication, Brad was so overjoyed and got so swept away in the frenzy of the moment, that he simply could not but open his heart to the reporter on the state of affairs in his household, at the same time squashing rumors of a possible split. No matter what the tabloids say, he and Angelina are happy, Brad insists – as a matter of fact, he can honestly say he’s never been happier in his life than he is now.
“I am in love and I have the most beautiful family – what else can a guy want? I am the happiest man ever. My daughter from Africa is beautiful. We’re so lucky to have her and to have children from around the world. They’re all fantastic and we would love another. Who knows, maybe we’ll have one in London, I’d like that.” Brad reportedly told the publication at Cannes, during one of the many parties he and Angelina attended.
Granted Brad Pitt would speak so carelessly about his personal life, even to infirm a rumor – which, as a side note, he almost never does – then this would come to contradict all previous speculations that had it he and Angie were this close to splitting everything in half and moving on with their lives, separately. Just a couple of days ago, for instance, word in the industry had it that the two had another massive row, which ended in Angelina threatening to kill herself and even writing a suicide note, just to prove that she was serious about it.
“Things have not been good. A couple [of] weeks ago they had a massive argument. Angelina threatened to kill herself over it. It was very ugly. I have never seen her look so frail and desperate. The kids were within earshot. I’d be amazed if Angie poses on the red carpet with Brad at Cannes.
