14 DAY TRIAL // When trying to pose as the celebrity couple engaged in the most charities in Hollywood, it's quite the slap in the face when you find out that your wife to be has had an affair with a convicted felon that is serving time for battery, assault and molesting minors. But that's exactly what Brad Pitt is going through these days.
Pitt has just found out that his longtime fiancée and soon-to-be-bride, Angelina Jolie, used to have an affair with a convict who is now in jail for molesting and raping two underage girls.
The person in question is former model Dean Kelly, who, according to the National Enquirer, has pleaded guilty to battery and felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, right before he was charged with raping two underaged girls in 2005, one 14 and one 17.
The fact that Kelly was found to be in possession of lewd material involving children didn't help his case all that much. Kelly has been in jail since last November when he violated his parole. As you can see, the man has serious issues and it's inconceivable that Angelina would hang out with him, let alone have an affair.
Nevertheless, this is what happened and the publication has obtained photos of the two of them together at a Vanity Fair party some 14 years ago.
An insider revealed to the magazine that “Brad is humiliated. After he saw the photos of his fiancée with Dean, he stormed out of the house just to calm down. He’s embarrassed, upset and sounds ready to bail.”
That last part might be a bit of an overstatement, as Brad was fully aware of Angelina' murky past when he got together with her. Granted, a lot of Jolie's skeletons have been coming up these days (we all remember the drug den video), but that doesn't mean that Brad is ready to throw in the towel.
This latest scandal can put a serious damper on their charitable efforts, as well as on Angelina's position with the United Nations, but most likely, it's going to be swept under the rug in the shortest time possible.
At the moment, the celebrity couple has moved to the island of Malta for the summer, in the Mediterranean, where they have begun filming their latest movie project “Love Story” which, according to reports, has a scene in which the two of them are supposed to get married on screen.
The scene was written by Angelina, and many consider that it's going to offer a sneak peek into their real wedding ceremony.
