14 DAY TRIAL // It was an impromptu meeting, but it was a memorable one. Apparently, neither one of the actors knew that they were going to bump into one another, but once they did, they proved that stars too can act childish and immature, despite their fame and fortune.
Matthew McConaughey and Brad Pit were both in New Orleans this weekend for the Make It Right foundation charity gala and they ended up staying in two separate buildings on either side of the street. As chance would have it, they stepped out on the balcony at the same time, and the rest was pure magic.
Matt was on the balcony together with his entourage and as soon as Brad stepped out, they began chatting like old friends. Below them, a swarm of paparazzi and fans went wild as heads moved from side to side like in a tennis match audience.
Brad was gesturing and talking to Matt when all of a sudden he held up his hand and quickly went inside. He came out seconds later with a cold can of beer in his hand and he tossed it to the other actor across the street.
McConaughey caught it expertly with his hands and later he was seen taking sips from the cold container, enjoying the brew. The other thing that kept going between the two balconies was Matt's football, which the actors used to throw at one another.
