14 DAY TRIAL // After a doomed marriage that came spiced with scandal, rehab and even jail time, Grammy-winning singer was recently spotted in the company of British filmmaker Reg Traviss, described by her father as a “normal bloke” that could help her get her life back on track. His other girlfriend, the one he broke up with just days before meeting Amy, though doesn’t see it that way, telling News of the World he’s only out with the singer because of the exposure she gives him.
In other words, he’s just as bad as her ex, Blake Fielder-Civil, and will probably break her heart just like he did. According to Raven Isis, a burlesque dancer who claims to have dated Traviss just shortly before he first went public with Winehouse, he only sought her out and asked her out because he knew the kind of media attention he would get if he became her boyfriend. The move was planned in advance, Isis believes, because Traviss had a new movie, “Psychosis,” coming out just recently.
“Amy needs to know she is being used by him. We were madly in love and he threw it all away to be with her just because she’s famous. And he doesn’t even like brunettes – especially with fake [breasts] and a rubbish fake tan. He’s not the Mr. Nice Guy Amy and her family think he is. In fact, he’s calculating and knows exactly that her fame will raise his own profile,” Traviss’ ex says for the British tabloid. Clearly, she’s holding a grudge against him for cheating on her with Amy – and she’s not afraid to say so.
“He’s a fame-hungry cheat and I can never forgive him for doing this. But she should know that since I dumped him he has bombarded me with texts every day asking to see me. I know he will ditch her as soon as he has got the fame he wants. And I would put money on the fact that he will be coming back to me with his tail between his legs. But he hasn’t got a chance in hell,” the dancer further adds.
So far, though, Traviss has seemingly had only a positive influence on Amy, just like her father was also saying a while back. At one point, rumor even had it that he’d talked her into going to rehab again to try and overcome her addiction to alcohol. Unfortunately, photos surfaced over the weekend confirmed that she continues to indulge in it.
