Justin Bieber's crazy antics have drawn responses from the unlikeliest of people, starting with fellow pop star Miley Cyrus and ending with Toronto mayor, Rob Ford. The latest celebrity to speak on the matter is British singer Boy George.

The 52-year-old artist has had his own run-ins with the law during his life, including being arrested for drug possession. In an interview with Access Hollywood, cited by Entertainmentwise, the singer draws a comparing line between the Canadian star and himself when he was that age.

“I can definitely identify with it completely and I can also identify with the fact that if you said anything to him, he'd laugh at you. Because I would have,” claims Boy George matter-of-factly.

He goes on to explain that “If you said to me [at the height of my fame], ‘You know what? You're messing this up.’ I wouldn't have listened because you don't listen when you're that age... you don't and that's a shame because I could've saved myself a lot of drama. A lot of money as well.”

Despite the parallel, Boy George still thinks that today's stars have it a lot tougher since the advent of social media and Internet, which allow for more details to come out and spread more rapidly than back in his day.

“I am really grateful that I kind of did a lot of growing up out of the spotlight because there [are] enough things on the internet that I hate. There are enough ugly pictures of me out there, so having anymore would be really depressing,” adds a bitter Boy George.

The sad truth is that the once troubled British singer is absolutely right in regard to Bieber, who is at the moment undergoing an identity crisis, right in the spotlight.

He has just recently caused further uproar when he decided to change his stage name to Bizzle and take on rapping instead of pop. He's gotten intro troubles with police on both sides of the border, in America and in Canada, and he's also killing his own career.

Time and public patience are running out for the young Bieber so he'd better find what he's looking for fast.
