14 DAY TRIAL // The George Zimmerman murder trial has been in the media a lot this year, and it has had an impact on the population in the States. However, some choose to mock it for Halloween.
A Facebook user has posted this picture depicting a Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman costume. The boy on the left has painted on a blackface mask to better depict Martin.
Trayvon Martin was killed in February of last year by neighborhood watch officer, George Zimmerman. Zimmerman was acquitted of the murder under Florida's “Stand your ground” law.
BuzzFeed writes that 25-year-old William Filene of Cape Coral, Florida is dressed as Martin. Zimmerman is represented by 22-year-old Greg Cimen of Cape Coral.
“Happy Halloween from Zimmerman & Trayvon,” the caption reads.
