New developments in the Boston bombers case arise as details of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's interview with the FBI are made public.

According to Mayor Michael Bloomberg's account, relayed by the Guardian, Tsarnaev confessed to plans to place other bombs in Times Square, New York.

"He and his older brother intended to drive to New York and detonate those explosives in Times Square," the Mayor said in a press conference.

He previously said that he was just following his brother Tamerlan's lead when going through with the attack. He has since been read his Miranda rights and is no longer providing information to FBI officers.

Earlier today, I wrote about a Ukrainian native living in New Jersey who brought two IEDs on a NJ transit train. He was arrested eight days after the deadly Boston blasts.
