The survivors and families of the Boston Marathon bombing victims are in dismay over a not guilty plea entered by a seemingly “bored” Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on Wednesday.

According to the Daily Mail, the bombing suspect appeared “disinterested” during his first court date, and he was “smirking” and “yawning” all the way.

Tsarnaev is being tried on 30 counts and 17 of the charges can bring about the death penalty.

However, victims do not wish him dead, and many have described feeling “disgusted” by his attitude in court. Most agree that he doesn't appear to be showing regret or remorse because of his actions.

“I'd rather see him suffer, death is too quick,” said 44-year-old Mildred Valverde who is forced to use crutches after the Boston attack.

“He came out and he smirked at the families,” adds 64-year-old Ed Fucarile.
