It hasn't passed but a very short while since the last announcement from Boston Acoustics, describing their last three products, some nifty speakers that have doubtlessly delighted many people. Well, it's now time for another announcement - the release of new components in the Horizon series and the release of new colors for the gear.

So far, the Horizon products (namely the home theater systems) were either silver or black. Now, with the announcement of additional gear, additional colors became available via POP: the Personal Option Plan, a Boston Acoustics custom-color project, allowing the customers to better choose the way their new gear will look like. Even more, the new stuff from Boston Acoustics is not only about colors: new products are soon to be available so you can actually fully customize the way your theater will sound like.

Starting shipping in October, the new-color grilles will surely add a most elegant and homely touch for your home d?cor; their coloring was especially designed so that it blends in perfectly with anything - the nuances are mild tones, with no brutal optical attributes and induce a soft and smooth atmosphere wherever present. The new Horizon Series come in a choice palette of glacier, rosebud, pearl gray, caramel, chocolate and chili pepper to go with the existing onyx black and silver.

As specced by Boston Acoustics and Electronic House, the new Horizon series comes as following:

-HS 40-4.5-inch 2-way bookshelf (SRP $99) -HS 50-5.25-inch 2-way bookshelf ($129) -HS 60-6.5-inch 2-way bookshelf ($149) -HS 225-dual 5.25-inch 2-way LCR ($249) -HS 450-dual 5.25-inch 2-way floorstanding ($299) -HS 460-dual 6.5-inch 2-way floorstanding ($399) -HPS 8Wi-8-inch wireless powered subwoofer ($399) -HPS10 SE-10-inch powered sub with built-in 150-watt amp ($299) -HPS 10HO-10-inch powered sub with built-in 250-watt amp ($399) -HPS 12HO-12-inch powered sub with built-in 300-watt amp ($499)
