Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, the upcoming first-person shooter with deep role-playing dungeon crawler elements from 2K Australia and Gearbox Software, has just received some more details about one of its new classes, in the form of Wilhelm the Enforcer, as well as his action skill that summons two flying drones.

Borderlands 1 and 2 delighted millions of fans from around the world with their first-person action that played as a shooter but had lots of elements from dungeon crawling role-playing games like Diablo or Torchlight.

The titles were both made by Gearbox Software, but right now the studio is focusing on other projects, so it's decided to call upon 2K Australia to offer a special in-between game that bridges the events from Borderlands 1 and Borderlands 2.

Titled Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, the game will focus on Handsome Jack's rise to power and bring forth all-new character classes with lots of returning characters representing them.

We've already heard some loose details about Claptrap the Fragtrap, Athena the Gladiator, or Nisha the Lawbringer, not to mention Wilhelm the Enforcer.

Now, after seeing a video dedicated to Athena, a set of details about Wilhelm have surfaced online, via IGN.

Wilhelm, who first appeared in Borderlands 2 as a looming cyborg, will be more human in the Pre-Sequel, and his action skill, called Wolf and Saint, will make use of robot allies.

More specifically, when triggered, the action skill calls in two drones, Wolf and Saint. Wolf is an attack drone that can go after enemies and bombard them with bullets, rockets, and other projectiles, while Saint sticks around Wilhelm to help him by recharging his shields, his health, and other such things.

As such, Wilhelm is perfect for those who want a good mix of offensive and defensives capabilities.

The three different talent trees that Wilhelm can specialize in go into more specific roles for the character, although only one was presented by the website.

Dubbed Hunter Killer, this skill tree augments the abilities of Wolf the offensive drone. It includes abilities that increase the damage or the speed of both Wilhelm and Wolf. One perk in particular gives Wolf the chance to fire venom bolts that cause damage over time corrosive effects. This tree culminates with a final skill called Omega Strike that periodically enables Wolf to fire rocket volleys towards foes.

There's also another tree called Cyber Commando, which probably buffs both drones in equal measure.

Expect to hear more about Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel at E3 2014 and ahead of its release this fall on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
