Borderlands 2 has just received a brand new hot fix across the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms, with developer Gearbox trying to solve a few immediate issues until the release of the next full-fledged update.

Borderlands 2 was released last year and has since received not just new expansions, like the most recent Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, or new DLC, like the Mechromancer one, but also plenty of updates and patches.

Now, in order to solve a few immediate issues, Gearbox has released a hot fix that should satisfy players until the next big patch is going to be released.

The full list of changes included in it can be enjoyed below, via the Gearbox website.

"- Adjusted Mechromancer’s Sweetheart class mod to correctly increase team health. - Assassin’s “Slayer of Terramorphous” class mod no longer includes Gunzerker skill bonus. - Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage : Critical hits against Midgets now register properly. - Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage : Rat Thief enemies are no longer allowed in Pete’s Bar due to patron concerns regarding excessive theft. - Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage : Torgue vending machines can now stock up to level 50 legendary weapons."

The hot fixes should be automatically applied on the game's Press Start screen when Borderlands 2 is connected to the internet, and Gearbox emphasizes that the game needs to be online each time it starts so that the hot fixes can be applied.

"In general, hot fixes are used to temporarily address issues between major updates. Hot fixes are not permanent -- they are temporarily stored in memory during the game session and lost upon exiting Borderlands 2."

As of yet, it's unclear when a new update is released for Borderlands 2 so owners of the game on the PC, PS3, or Xbox 360 should make sure that they're connected to the internet each time they start the title.
