Wireless carrier Boost Mobile announced recently the addition of yet another appealing device to its offering, the Sanyo Incognito by Kyocera. The new device has been made available for operator's subscribers for a price tag of $129.99, a $20 discount from the original price of $149.99, and comes as the first QWERTY clamshell phone that Boost Mobile includes in its lineup. The device is being launched only a few days after Boost Mobile and Kyocera Communications Inc. unveiled the launch of Sanyo Mirro for its customers.

The phone also comes with a MicroSD memory card slot that supports up to 16 GB of additional storage space.

“Consumers can expect to see a lot more from Boost in 2010 to meet the widening range of needs we’re seeing as we attract and target a larger group of customers," said Neil Lindsay, chief marketing officer, Sprint Prepaid Group. “Launching phones like the Sanyo Incognito with 3G capabilities proves that we are committed to the evolution of our brand, services and devices to appeal to a broader demographic mix.”

The features list of Sanyo Incognito from Boost Mobile includes a full QWERTY keyboard with dedicated emoticon, direct-to-text and camera keys, a glow-thru external display with touch-sensitive keypad, multimedia (picture & video), text and instant messaging capabilities, music and video players, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, speakerphone with voice-activated dialing, voicemail, caller ID and call waiting and access to downloadable content, including games, wallpapers and music ringtones.

“The Incognito goes from sleek to striking when the glow-thru display comes to life, and opening the phone reveals an ideal device to take advantage of Boost’s rich 3G services,” said Tom Maguire, head of global marketing at Kyocera Communications Inc. “Kyocera is excited to see the Incognito join our Sanyo Mirro in Boost’s growing handset lineup, giving Boost customers more choice than ever in selecting the perfect device.”
