US-based laptop, iPad/iPhone, and camera bag manufacturer Booq announced in a recent press release the availability of a new slim backpack model, the Python slimpack.

The new Python slimpack is designed to help you carry all the essential photo gear you might need for an outdoor photoshooting session or where you're on the go. The backpack is made out of a water-repellent 1680 denier ballistic nylon exterior which, along with a removable rain poncho, will keep your gear protected and dry in any weather conditions.

Python slimpack comes with an intelligently designed interior that can accommodate up to two digital SLR cameras, four mid-size lenses, one large zoom lens, as well as a tripod and even a table or iPad up to 10 inches. The interior features removable padded dividers that allow you to configure it any way you like to fit your needs.

Featuring ergonomically designed shoulder straps aimed at maximizing comfort and fit all body types, the Python slimpack also comes with a top-access camera compartment that provides quick access to your gear.

In addition to that, all Booq bags come with a Terralinq serial number that allows you to track and find your lost bag through the booqTeralinq service.

Booq's Lead Designer, S. Kema Subsomboon, said that “The days where a camera was the only tool a photographer carried are long gone,”.

“Nowadays they carry a tablet with them, chargers, multiple lenses, their phone, and even more than one camera on occasion. With a lot of stuff it can be difficult to find and accommodate things, not to mention keep equipment from getting damaged. The Python slimpack was designed with this in mind, keeping things divided with a multitude of pockets and padded walls, as well as dividers.” she then added.

Booq's Python slimpack is now available on the official web store as well as at various retailers across the US at a price of $149.95 / €110.
