Report says family is worried sick about Bobbi Kristina, Whitney Houston's daughter

Short on the heels of reports that the Houston family wants 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina (Krissi) in rehab, comes another, even more troubling: hours before her mother was laid to rest in a private ceremony, Krissi went AWOL to get high.

The Daily Beast reports that Krissi was very upset after the 4-hour tribute ceremony that took place before the funeral – and she simply took off without telling anyone where she went.

Earlier reports said that the teen took her mother's death very hard, since they'd been very close.

Seeing and hearing all of Whitney's friends and collaborators speak of her in such praising terms and then seeing her estranged dad make a scene when he walked out of the ceremony was the straw that broke the camel's back for Bobbi Kristina.

So, when her family and friends went out for dinner after the ceremony, she slipped off – reportedly to numb the pain with drugs.

“Everyone was freaking out and calling Bobbi Kristina’s cell. It was so much commotion and activity after the funeral that Bobbi Kristina just slipped away. Ms. Cissy [Houston, Whitney’s mother] was beside herself,” a family source says for the aforementioned publication.

Everybody is worried that Krissi is going down the same path as her mother, and they're desperate to save her before it's too late.

“Cissy and others won’t admit out loud that Bobbi Kristina has a drug problem,” says the spy.

“But they know it and have been trying to keep her straight even before Whitney passed. But losing your mother and the life you’re accustomed to all in one day is enough to send anybody off the deep end,” adds the insider.

In just two days after Whitney's death, Bobbi Kristina was rushed to the hospital twice, with tabloids saying she'd mixed prescription pills with alcohol, also in a bid to numb the pain.

A spokesperson for the family confirms for The Daily Beast that Krissi went missing, but insists she doesn't have a drug problem.

“There was some confusion about Bobbi Kristina’s whereabouts last night for a short time, but she's OK. She needed some time alone. She is going through a very hard time as you can expect,” says the Houston publicist.
