14 DAY TRIAL // Bobbi Kristina, aka Krissi, Whitney Houston’s only daughter has been dating her mother’s “adopted son” / Godson Nick Gordon since before the singer’s death. A new trailer for the Houstons’ reality show confirms rumors that the two are engaged.
Back in August this year, Krissi and Nick both tweeted photos of a gorgeous ring he gave her as a present.
Neither would say whether the ring meant more than just that but, as was to be expected, the glossies put two and two together.
As this teaser for “The Houstons: On Our Own” here confirms, Krissi and Nicki are engaged to be married and, by the looks of things, the family did not take the news kindly.
“We’re engaged!” reads a large caption in the trailer, with Krissi saying she could never imagine her life “without him.”
“No one knew that from a Godson, you would turn into a boyfriend. No one knew that,” Krissi’s uncle tells Nick.
Another trailer for the same reality series, which premieres on Lifetime this month, shows a bit more of the drama we’re to expect from it.

Not only will the Houstons be struggling to accept Nick in their midst as more than Whitney’s Godson, but they will also be fighting for Krissi’s sobriety.
One particular scene shows her throwing up and was probably shot right after her mother’s death, when reports online were saying she’d overdosed in her attempt to deal with the grief.
Moments later, Pat Houston is shown carrying Krissi wrapped up in a blanket and apparently unconscious, and then driving her someplace while telling the camera that she “must” get her niece away in order to save her.
“The Houstons: On Our Own” premieres on October 24. Will you tune in for it?
