Harmonix and MTV Games have announced that this week their Rock Band Music Store will get a host of tracks from one of the biggest musical legends of the XX century, Bob Marley, available today for those who are gaming on the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3 or the Nintendo Wii.

The songs are being offered to music loving gamers just as members of the Marley family are getting ready to put on a concert for the One Love Foundation on September 23.

The concert will take place in Pittsburgh and will mark the last public performance of Marly himself, which took place 30 years ago.

The tracks that are coming to Rock Band are:

“Is This Love” “No Woman No Cry” “Could You Be Loved” “Three Little Birds” “Buffalo Soldier” “Stir It Up” “One Love/People Get Ready” “I Shot the Sheriff” “Waiting in Vain” “Redemption Song” “Satisfy My Soul” “Exodus” “Jamming”

Some of the songs mentioned above are also available on the LEGO Rock Band game, which only offers songs that are appropriate for all ages.

Rock Band 3 also includes the well known track “Get Up, Stand Up”.

Ziggy Marley, son of the musician, has stated about the Rock Band launch that, “My father was interested in bringing reggae music to the entire world, and now that his music is coming to 'Rock Band,' as the first reggae artist in the game, we are excited to open the doors to reggae music to a whole new group of young people.”

Players can get the entire “Legend” album for the price of 19.99 dollars or 1,600 Microsoft Points if you sing on the Xbox 360 but they can also only pick up their favorite songs by playing 200 Wii Points, 160 Microsoft Points or 1.99 dollars.
