After clipping it on, it plays music, takes calls, and more

The Ribbon, from BlueAnt, may just be one of the smallest and easiest to use hands-free adapters ever, even among wireless ones.

Capable of linking to any Bluetooth smartphone, it can send audio to any headphone set, or speaker dock and/or car stereo for that matter, provided a 3.5mm cable is available.

That way, music stored on the phone can be played anywhere.

Of course, taking calls is perfectly possible as well, thanks to the buttons built into it which, conveniently, can pause and play tracks as well.

On that note, the device allows access to Siri and Google Voice Actions, as well as GPS directions and any other apps that output “voice” information.

October is when sales will start, for the rather unflattering price of $69.99 / 54-70 Euro. Then again, Ribbon does produce near CD audio quality, and it is very small for something that not only receives Bluetooth, but also renders the audio accordingly. The battery life (rechargeable) is six hours.
