The website Bloomberg.com is in the top ten of most frequently visited financial websites, providing financial breaking news along with a broad selection of opinions and stories from the Bloomberg News service, but also market data on stocks, rates and bonds, currencies, mutual funds, ETFs and commodities. The site also offers investment tools like market monitors, calculators and interactive charts, and live streaming or archived Bloomberg TV and Radio program downloads.

Yesterday, the website that has become one of the world's fastest growing financial sites, launched a version designed especially for mobile devices, thus allowing users to access from their mobile phones the same information that they got from Bloomberg.com. After experiencing a growth in web traffic of 66 percent over the past year, with its mobile version, the website is now going to provide all that users need to be kept well informed in order to take care of their finances on the go.

Thus, the site will offer breaking news stories and Bloomberg exclusives, top economic news, political and sports reporting, investment news and opinion pieces, but also movie, book and theater reviews. Users will be able to view directly from their mobiles news from Asia, Europe and the US, and also to quote search more than 100 international exchanges, and a database of more than 200,000 equities, mutual funds and indexes. The site also offers info on leaders and laggards by index, global market snapshots, a simple and intuitive navigation, but also quick downloading and easy to read text.

The service will now operate on mobile-designed web browsers like Microsoft Internet Explorer for Mobile, Palm, Safari and Opera. Users will be able to access the mobile version of Bloomberg.com by typing either simply bloomberg.com or bloomberg.com/mobile in their mobile's device Internet browser.
