The company is fixing them as soon as possible

Season 3 for Diablo 3 is now ongoing and video game developer Blizzard says that all gamers should try to avoid taking advantage of any exploits that the community finds in the time required for the studio to actually patch the issues.

The announcement arrives just as the company has identified a bug that allows interested players to gain advantage to a large number of Blood Shards from Blood Thief globins, which has since been patched.

Blizzard says that the entire balance of Diablo 3 can be affected by players who move to use such vulnerabilities to improve their personal position.

The company adds, "We're also in the process of actioning accounts that have been found to be actively using this exploit to gain an unfair advantage. This behavior not only undermines the spirit play, but directly violates our in-game policies for Diablo III. As always, maintaining a stable, safe, and enjoyable online environment for legitimate players is very important to us, and we'll be continuing to keep watch on Battle.net and taking additional action as needed."

When a problem with Diablo 3 is flagged by the community, Blizzard encourages players to avoid taking advantage of it while a fix is being developed.

Diablo 3 patch 2.2.0 is live

The most recent patch for the Blizzard title is 2.2.0, which has made a range of tweaks to the way classes work and to the core gameplay mechanics.

Blizzard understands that the action RPG needs to evolve to stay relevant and wants to listen from gamers as they test the new balance.

Season 3 is now running in Diablo 3, and that means for a while no new patches are set to be offered for the title.

Blizzard says that the mode will be active for about four months and gamers will get a warning two weeks before it ends.

Gamers will be then able to evaluate their performance for a short while as another major patch is introduced.

Rumors are also talking about an entirely new expansion for Diablo 3, which will be revealed in a few months and will be launched before the end of 2015.

Blizzard is also aiming to introduce more events and other gameplay tweaks in order to make sure that fans continue to play the experience.
