A chess genius has visited a prison in Chicago to showcase his skills. He has been successful in wining against ten prisoners, while wearing a blindfold.

The match at Cook County Jail in Chicago featured 25-year-old grandmaster Timur Gareev of Uzbekistan.

According to Chicago Sun Times, Gareev currently ranks fourth among chess players in the United States.

He sat in the middle of the room in a swivel chair. He was dressed in a Halloween costume, which he had worn the night before.

Gareev also took out ten players in a recent match played in Russia. He started the game at Cook County Jail in the morning on Friday, and he was finished by noon.

He has taken up playing with a blindfold on two years ago. Next year, he intends to play 50 simultaneous games and score a world record in this category.
