Celebrity couples are usually plagued with divorce or pregnancy rumors but, clearly, few have as much fun with the rumors as country couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert do. Over the weekend, the two had a blast on Twitter.

Friday’s issue of the weeklies brought a new wave of rumors about how their marriage was in danger because Blake had cheated on his wife of nearly 2 years with some 23-year-old artist.

This wasn’t the first time – and it probably won’t be the last either – when such reports make it into the tabs. This time though, the two come out fighting – on Twitter.

“Hey @mirandalambert... I just read in a tabloid that our marriage is falling apart!!!” Blake wrote to his wife on the social networking website, as cited by Us Weekly (they’ve already deleted some of the tweets).

“Oh no! Can't wait to read if we make it or not,” Miranda wrote back, clearly having as much fun with it as her husband.

“Ba! Ha! Ha! You see y'all!!! I'm making her funnier!!!” Blake shot back.

Miranda did not stop there, literally inviting all her fans and followers keeping an eye on their conversation into the bed with them.

“@blakeshelton why are we tweeting each other when we are literally laying an inch apart? Wait...don't answer that....:) #keepitclean,” she added.

As noted above, this isn’t the first time that the two use social media to set the record straight on rumors that emerge online and in the press and which have zero truth to them.

In the past, they also denied reports that they were pregnant (repeatedly) or that they were talking divorce for a variety of reasons, infidelity being one of them.

Blake and Miranda met in 2005, when he was still married to his first wife. They tied the knot in 2011.
