14 DAY TRIAL // Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were from the start a very low-key celebrity couple, to the point where they actually went to great lengths to make sure no one knew of their romance. Fans should be happy to know that photos from their September wedding are now out.
The latest online issue of the Martha Stewart Weddings magazine brings a preview of the editorial dedicated to Real Weddings, Blake and Ryan, and you can see it in full here.
“Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are no strangers to a sea of cameras aimed at them. But when they decided to marry, they wanted to celebrate in privacy – and in style,” the mag writes.
“And while they remain protective of images of them on their most heartfelt occasion, they graciously let us share pictures of the elements we created together,” it further adds.
Indeed, the wedding was planned with plenty of help from Martha Stewart and her team, and input from the bride herself. A self-confessed sweets lover, Blake made sure her and Ryan’s guests got to sample a delicious array of desserts.
Besides the mouth-watering desserts, photo also show Blake’s bouquet (which is gorgeous!) and a glimpse of her gown.
“Style director Kate Berry created Blake Lively's lush bouquet of pink jasmine, andromeda, dusty miller, and blushing bride hydrangea. She dipped select petals in subtle rose-gold glitter to play up the embroidery of the same color on the bride's couture ballgown by Marchesa,” the mag writes.
As for the wedding dress, which is said to have been spectacular, the publication offers only a teaser in the online issue: the photo also attached to this article, which shows Blake and Ryan holding hands.
This is Blake’s first marriage but Ryan’s second. He was married to Scarlett Johansson but got an amicable divorce when they realized they had grown apart.
