14 DAY TRIAL // “Gossip Girl” star and, as of late, Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend, Blake Lively has never and would never take compromising pictures of herself on her iPhone and risk having them out there. Hence, those now making the rounds online are fake.
For some hours, a series of shots of a woman looking very much like Blake taking photos of herself in the bathroom sans clothes, have been making the rounds online.
Celebrity pundits immediately picked up on the story, with some even saying that she probably leaked them herself to ensure she gets an extra boost of publicity (as if dating DiCaprio wasn’t enough) and thus finally launch her movie career, which hasn’t been going as good as she may have expected.
Her rep, though, is saying something else: the photos are not of Blake and she will sue the person who first claimed it was her – or, for that matter, anyone who dares to publish them, E! Online informs.
“The photos of Blake Lively which have just surfaced on various websites including Perez Hilton and Zap2it.com are 100 percent FAKE,” says the star’s rep in a statement cited by E!.
Taking this type of pictures of herself is not something that Blake would do, the publicist adds and, because her image has now been tarnished, she will be seeking compensation in court.
“Blake will pursue legal action against the publication which initially published these photographs and any other outlets that republish them in any manner,” the rep adds.
As noted above, Blake recently made headlines for issues pertaining to her personal life during the Cannes Film Festival, when rumors first broke that she was dating DiCaprio, after he broke up with model girlfriend Bar Rafaeli.
Photos of the two on a private yacht, looking very friendly, further fueled the speculation.
Now, the two are on holiday together and have repeatedly been photographed holding hands and leaving the same hotel together – so there’s no longer any doubt as to the state of their relationship.
