Starting today, mobile phone users in Australia can head over to Telstra’s stores to grab the new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone, after having had the possibility to purchase it through the wireless carrier’s website for the past several days.

Running under the new, re-designed BlackBerry 10 operating system, the smartphone arrives on shelves with a 4.2-inch touchscreen display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory.

It also sports a microSD memory card slot, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, front camera for making video calls, and support for 4G networks. Its battery can deliver up to 600 minutes of talk time, or up to 285 hours of standby time.

At Telstra, the new mobile phone can be purchased starting at $67 per month, with a minimum cost of $1,608 on a 24-month contract, the wireless carrier announced.
